a weekend in the country

Escaped this weekend to my folk's place in the country for some R&R and QT with some of my favourite beings...

...like Tessa, my family's golden retriever. She turned 14 years young this weekend and celebrated with a bowl of chicken and rice soup over kibble. Mmmmmm.

The rain made for perfect knitting weather - and boy, do I have a lot of knitting to do...

...which is why I was so grateful for my mom's extra hands. She made quick work of kove hang tags and order notes. Her stocked fridge was wonderful too.
