documentary: blindsight

These days I've been trying to source more interesting content to watch while I'm working (sorry Gossip Girl). Until audiobook subscriptions get less expensive (or until I get around to paying my library fines) I've been combing through the Netflix documentary section and finding some gems. Blindsight follows six blind teens from Tibet as they make their way to Everest's advanced base camp under the leadership of American Erik Weihenmayer - a blind climber who's reached the peak of all seven continents. Definitely worth a watch - the stories of the students are as inspiring as the trek itself.
